The Water weed-sickle is a Canadian made do it yourself aquatic weed cutter. This is a cutter suitable for controlling weed growth in medium to large sized areas. Can be used for commercial applications and by individual property owners. The Water weed-sickle HD runs on a 12 volt battery and will last us to 12 hours of continuous cutting. We always recommend picking up the weeds when you are done.  This can be done by using our Aquatic Weed Rake or our Lake Rake 

• Continuous duty rated, 1/5 HP 12 volt DC gear motor, fuse protected

• Mounts on the transom, side or bow of your boat

• Adjusts to a maximum cutting depth of 4 to 6 feet depending on shaft size

• Infinite tilt adjustment allows the machine to cut on an angle in shallow water or tilt completely out of the water for transit

• Cutter bars are available in 4 feet 

• Two units may be used, one on each side of the boat, to cut an 8’ swatch

• Adjusts 360° to cut forwards, backwards, or sideways

• Self-sharpening cutting knives

• Powered by a 12 volt deep cycle marine battery (not included)

• Weighs less than 55 lbs.

• Fully guaranteed for 2 years and is not voided for commercial use (except for rental purposes)

• Cutting time of 6-8 hours on a fully charged battery

• Constructed entirely of aluminum, stainless steel, and hardened spring steel for years of trouble-free operation

Forged guards protect knives and assist the cutting action
