Mike Holmes Pond Restoration – Caledon, ON

When TV personality Mike Holmes needed to restore his overgrown pond, he turned to Weeds B’ Gone for a professional aquatic weed removal solution.

When respected contractor and TV personality Mike Holmes needed to reclaim his private pond from invasive aquatic weeds and deep-set muck, he called in the Weeds B’ Gone team. Using our amphibious Mobitrac harvester, we carefully removed years of buildup to reveal a clear, clean waterbody once again. The project not only revived the landscape but also improved the pond’s ecological health—right in Mike’s own backyard.

Shoreline Cleanup at Georgina Island – Lake Simcoe

Weeds B Gone partnered with the Chippewas of Georgina Island to clean up invasive aquatic weeds and restore the island’s shoreline ecosystem.

Home to the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation, this community was facing significant aquatic weed overgrowth along its beautiful shoreline. We worked closely with local leaders to restore clean water access by removing dense vegetation and opening up the waterfront. This project demonstrated the impact of thoughtful collaboration and how aquatic weed control can contribute to environmental stewardship and community well-being.

City of Windsor Pond Rejuvenation – Windsor, ON

The City of Windsor collaborated with Weeds B’ Gone to tackle invasive weed growth and breathe new life into a local conservation pond.

We were proud to partner with the City of Windsor to breathe new life into a neglected conservation pond. Overrun with invasive weeds and organic debris, the waterbody needed a fresh start. Our team deployed mechanical harvesting and muck removal to restore its natural beauty and ensure long-term ecological balance. Today, the pond is once again a vibrant part of the community’s green space.
